Iskriva Institute Selected to Join the Sounding Board of the New European Bauhaus Funding Hub
Brussels, 9 June 2026 – We are extremely proud that Iskriva Institute has been invited, alongside a selected group of experts and organisations, to join the Sounding Board supporting the establishment of the NEB Funding Hub, an important new European Commission initiative dedicated to financing New European Bauhaus (NEB) projects. As members of the Sounding Board, we participated in a workshop held in Brussels on 9 June 2026.
The workshop brought together representatives of selected projects and initiatives working on financing development projects aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus, as well as representatives of various investor organisations. The objective of the meeting was to identify needs, challenges, and recommendations for establishing an effective mechanism that will facilitate stronger connections between projects and funding sources while encouraging the implementation of high-quality development initiatives across Europe.
During the workshop, we presented our approach to the New European Bauhaus, which we see as a process of creating new value, identifying development opportunities, and promoting a contemporary model of leadership for the implementation of projects based on the principles of sustainability, inclusiveness, and aesthetic quality. We also highlighted the importance of regional development and the need to establish financial mechanisms that enable local communities and regions to unlock their development potential more effectively.
We were particularly encouraged by the positive response our perspectives received from both European Commission representatives and fellow participants. Their feedback confirms that we are moving in the right direction in developing approaches that successfully connect sustainable development objectives with concrete investment opportunities.
We are also delighted by the new relationships established with investors who share our understanding of the importance of investing in regional development. We believe that these new partnerships will make a significant contribution to the further development of projects that embody the values of the New European Bauhaus and generate lasting positive impacts for communities and places across Europe.
