Zalaegerszeg, 9 September 2026 – On Wednesday, 9 September 2026, the partners of the Kul-Well project, in which Iskriva Institute acts as a project partner, met in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary.
The gathering included a project meeting, at which the partners reviewed the questionnaire for service providers and agreed on the next steps and activities of the project, and to a visit to two interesting examples of good practice. They first visited the Gébárti Regional Folk Craft House, a craft centre dedicated to safeguarding traditional crafts and folk heritage, followed by the Göcseji Knowledge Centre, which connects local providers, craftspeople and visitors and contributes to the transmission of traditional knowledge and the promotion of local products. The visit offered valuable insight into approaches that link cultural heritage, the local community and sustainable tourism, key areas at the heart of the Kul-Well project.
Kul-Well is an international project that links cultural heritage, local communities and sustainable tourism and seeks new ways to strengthen local providers and cultural content. At the heart of the project is connecting traditional knowledge, local products and services with visitors and fostering their long-term development.
The meeting was therefore an opportunity not only to coordinate further work, but also to exchange experiences and ideas among the partners. The examples from Zalaegerszeg will serve as inspiration for the further development of project activities and for finding ways to link cultural heritage even more closely with local providers, communities and visitors.
