Postojna, 30 September 2026 – The RECET project supports and strengthens the capacities of local authorities and other stakeholders in rural regions to advance the green energy transition. It brings together partners from different European regions to identify practical solutions for more effective planning and implementation of energy projects. The project is developing knowledge, tools, and activities to help local communities plan projects in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency, as well as explore opportunities for financing their implementation.

As the project approaches its completion, an important milestone was the closing event hosted by the Municipality of Postojna, a project partner, on 30 September 2026. The event provided an opportunity to present the project’s results, as well as the content and knowledge developed by the partners to support the planning of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.

Participants were introduced to a draft Local Energy Concept, training developed within the project in cooperation with project partners and an external expert, as well as opportunities for more effective energy project planning and accessing EU funding. Particular attention was also given to the energy community and to discussing opportunities for continued cooperation on the energy transition of the Municipality of Postojna.
