Prekmurje, 14.-15. oktober 2025
In the beautiful landscape of Pomurje, an exclusive test tour of a new accessible experience package took place as part of the CE-Spaces4ALL project under the Central Europe Programme. Participants tested programmes of accessible tourism services designed for people with disabilities – wheelchair users, deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, blind and visually impaired persons, as well as people with invisible or cognitive impairments.
The programme included, among other activities, a gibanica baking workshop at Hiša Gibanice, accessible cycling with adapted bicycles provided by Zavod Uvid at the Expano Pavilion, an afternoon at Terme Vivat, a visit to the Vinarium Tower with the option of a zipline experience, lunch at Restavracija Kodila, and a tomato tasting and evaluation session at the Luštna domačija farm.
Participants not only assessed the suitability of the activities and the accessibility of the venues but also came brimming with fresh ideas on how to make these experiences truly accessible and inclusive for everyone. The test tour was a resounding success, inspiring participants for future accessible experiences while providing valuable feedback for the further development of inclusive and sustainable tourism services in the Pomurje region.
